The hotel translates into lots of downtown financiers from Miami and South America with the thirst for some Hirst (his Arginine Decarboxylase, 1994 is estimated at $632,000-948,000) and Antony Gormley (his Domain LX, 2006 is valued 316,000-$474,000). The short but delicious looking exhibit featuring works from the February 2011 Post-War and Contemporary Art Evening Sale in London is only up for four Basel days, and it's worth the trip downtown.
